"Virtuoso" is a word thrown around far too easily these days, but in regards to Nomi Abadi, it holds true in every respect.

A pianist, singer, inventor of the new and improved keytar--the NoryTM--and former child prodigy, by age four, Nomi had written her first suite. At five, she appeared as the youngest ever guest soloist with the Orange County Chamber Orchestra, performing a Mozart concerto. By age 11, she had toured as a concert pianist across the US, Budapest, Vienna and Prague.

Nomi attended the Mannes School of Music in New York City at age eight and became the youngest member of the Long Beach Shakespeare Company at age 12. She appeared on numerous television shows including Crook and Chase, This Is Amazing, Showbiz Today, and was featured on the cover of the LA Times, in the Orange County Register and OC Weekly.

Throughout her piano career, Nomi also acted in over 50 stage productions and attended the Orange County High School of the Arts and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Several years before she went solo, Nomi formed and fronted the indie band Wonderthings, performing live on KTLA 5 and opening for acts such as Death by Stereo and Melee.

A political and animal rights activist, Nomi has contributed live music to benefits for PCRM, The Zeitgeist Movement, PETA, Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein and Stephen Jaffe and has performed on such stages as the Irvine Barclay Theater, Steinway Hall in New York, the Lichtenstein Palace in Prague, the House of Blues in Los Angeles and Avalon Hollywood. Nomi has contributed hundreds of recordings to American Idol, America's Got Talent, Britain's Got Talent and The Voice.

Joined on stage by her brand new, double-ended 72-key NoryTM today, Nomi brands her genre “classitronica”, blending classical roots with electronic programming, alongside producer Gordon Fordyce (David Bowie, Lindsey Buckingham, Mötley Crüe, Elton John, Devo, Cher).
